Picnic & Awards Ceremony

          On June 21, 2007, the Love 2 Serve family joined together at Journey Home's Community Garden at East Poplar Playground to celebrate our first year of Love 2 Serve.  Nearly one hundred kids, family, friends, AAYTE staff and Board members as well as numerous community leaders and representatives from the USTA and Ford Foundation were on hand for the celebration. 

         After enjoying a special tennis clinic we were treated to hot dogs and hamburgers from grillmaster and AAYTE Tennis Director, Lance Lee and a special presentation by friend of AAYTE and world renowned Sports Psychologist, Joel Fish.  Our years accomplishments as a group and individually were celebrated during a special awards ceremony.  Each participant received an award that recognized their accomplishments and individual importance to Love 2 Serve.  Thank you to everyone who attended for making our first year of Love 2 Serve so successful!
